Oscar Lee Dillard went home to be with his sister, parents, and Jesus on May 21, 2012. Oscar was born February 17, 1948 at home in Atoka, Oklahoma to Lacy and Vera Dillard. He spent his childhood in both Oklahoma and on the California coast. He finally settled in Scotia, California where he raised his 2 boys. He worked for Pacific Lumber Company for 25 years. He was disabled in 1994 in a work related accident. Oscar is preceded in death by his parents and sister Nena Moss.

He is survived by wife Francie Dillard. Children: Bill & Gina Dillard of Rio Del, CA; Tom & Angela Dillard of Redding; Allison & Cris Kapple of Redding. Grandchildren: Haley & Olivia of Rio Del; Brandon & Alexia of Redding; PFC Troy M Kapple U.S.M.C. stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA and Kristianne Kapple of Redding. He is also survived by his brother Larry Holland of Tennessee; Sister Sharon Potter and brother-in-laws Terry Potter & Leon Moss of Redding; and many nieces, nephews, & cousins. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Services will be at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson on May 30th at 3:30 PM
